1978 Halston IV Red Orange One Shoulder Iconic Draped Dress
This archival Halston gown is an iconic moment in fashion history. It’s been a favorite of lots of celebrities over the years and is a museum worthy piece.
Despite is commanding presence, it’s actually incredibly easy to wear and care for. The dress has an inner and outer layer of jersey fabric. The inner layer serves as a body-skimming base to the dress. The outer layer is all drape and drama. There is a hook and eye closure at the shoulder that makes it very easy to put on and take off. The slit at the thigh takes the whole look to the next level.
This dress might actually be perfect. Sexy and expertly edited, this is Halston at his absolute best.
The sizing for this gown is varied. It should hang on the body so the draping element of the design can really sing. It would work best for a small or medium.
